Copyright & DMCA Policy

GameCrew respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains how to report content on gamecrew.xyz that you believe infringes your copyright.

Our Content

Our articles are original editorial content. Game titles, box art, screenshots and logos belong to their respective publishers and developers, and are used in our guides for identification and commentary. If we have used your work in a way you believe goes beyond that, please tell us — we will fix genuine mistakes quickly.

Filing a Takedown Notice

Email contact@gamecrew.xyz with the subject line “DMCA Notice” and include:

  1. Your full name and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on gamecrew.xyz where the material appears.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens Next

On receiving a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material and notify the contributor if one is involved. If content was removed in error, the contributor may send a counter-notice containing their contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement of good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake; material may be restored 10–14 business days after a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant files a court action. We terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Mistakes Happen

If you believe material was taken down wrongly — or you simply want something corrected — email us first. Most issues are resolved faster with a message than with a formal notice.
